Uniscience to Distribute Partek Software in Brazil

St. Louis, Missouri – November 30, 2007 – Partek Incorporated announced today that it has licensed Partek® Genomics SuiteTM (Partek GS) software to Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH).

Researchers at MGH will use Partek to detect copy number variation in family research. MHG, the third oldest hospital in the United States, is dedicated to research that improves the lives of their patients. MHG is located in Boston.

Partek GS at Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research

Researchers at NIBR will use Partek GS to analyze genomic data. NIBR, Novartis’ research organization, is dedicated to finding new treatments for areas within dermatology, oncology, and immunology. Australia’s Heart Institute Adopts Partek

Scientists at HRI will use Partek to analyze gene expression data generated from studies about the effects of sex hormones in heart disease and the link between diabetic kidney disease and heart disease. HRI is Australia’s leading institute for atherosclerosis research and was founded in 1989. HRI is located in New South Wales.

INSERM and Nantes to Use Partek

Researchers at INSERM and the University of Nantes will use Partek GS to analyze data from expression and genotyping studies on tumor cells. Erasmus MC Expands Number of Partek Licenses in Use

Roche Buys Partek Software

Researchers at Roche Molecular Diagnostics will use Partek GS to analyze diagnostic data from a variety of studies involving drug development. Current research at Roche involves using biomarkers to determine patients’ reactions to specific medications, as well as drug discovery.
