St. Louis, Missouri – November 13, 2007 – Partek Incorporated announced today that it has licensed Partek® Genomics SuiteTM (Partek GS) software to Roche Molecular Diagnostics (Roche).

Researchers at Roche Molecular Diagnostics will use Partek GS to analyze diagnostic data from a variety of studies involving drug development. Current research at Roche involves using biomarkers to determine patients’ reactions to specific medications, as well as drug discovery. Roche, a leader in the pharmaceutical industry, has provided such therapeutic drugs as Tamiflu®, Herceptin®, and Boniva®.


Partek GS allows for thorough analysis of gene expression, exon alternative splicing, copy number, genome-wide SNP, and ChIP-chip regulation data within in the same software package. In addition, Partek GS provides easy to use workflows to walk through the analysis process. Partek GS is Affymetrix GeneChip-compatibleTM for gene expression analysis, exon expression analysis, chromosomal copy number analysis, tiling array analysis, and chromosomal copy number analysis of high density SNP arrays.
